AI Use Statement
Effective date: 17 September 2026
Nothing Amiss uses artificial intelligence in its work and helps clients use it in theirs. This statement explains how we use AI responsibly. It should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Engagement.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to:
- research businesses, markets and technologies;
- draft and edit written content, including website copy, proposals, documentation and emails;
- summarise meetings and notes;
- analyse and clean data;
- write and review code, workflows and automations; and
- build AI-powered features for clients, such as agents, chat assistants, enrichment and scoring.
Our principles
Human accountability. A person reviews AI output before it goes into client deliverables, is published, or is relied on for a decision. We are responsible for our work, however it was produced.
Confidentiality. We do not enter client confidential information or personal information into AI tools that use inputs to train publicly available models. We prefer business-grade tools and settings with data protections, and we follow any client-specific AI restrictions agreed at the start of an engagement.
Accuracy. AI can produce plausible but incorrect results. We verify facts, figures, code and configurations before relying on them.
Transparency. We will tell you if AI played a significant role in a deliverable where that is material to you, and answer any question about how a piece of work was produced.
Fairness. When we build scoring, routing or decision automations, we design them around legitimate business criteria and avoid using sensitive characteristics.
Automated decisions on this website
We may use automated rules and AI-assisted tools to score or prioritise enquiries and to decide which emails a contact receives. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. Details, and how to ask for a human review, are in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
AI we build for clients
When we build AI features for clients, the client decides whether and how to deploy them and is responsible for human oversight, disclosures to its own customers and staff, and compliance with laws that apply to it. We will flag risks we identify, including privacy, automated decision-making disclosure, and accuracy risks.
